When choosing a kettle you may come across many different designs and colours. In terms of features there are those that are ecorfriendly. If you spend a lot of time in the kitchen you may want a novelty gadget kettle that is packed full of features. Packed full of features you don’t really need like mobile phones these days. After all, all you need a kettle to do is boild some water.

The main purpose of kettles is to boil some water. Most likely that you will use the water for coffee, tea or soup. You may need it in pasta or some pot noodles. One idea for a new kettle would be to have a memory function so it knows what you want it for. The right amount comes out all boiled. This means that you waste less. Having an lcd display would be completely useless but having one you can put all sorts of random things. Temperature maybe one but we all know it needs to be over a hundred degrees celcius for it to start boiling. User displays with random tea or coffee facts would be cool, but useless.

You would need many different colours in the range to match with your designer kitchen. Although having panels that are customisable will be appealing.

Kettles can come in a variety of different shapes and sizes aswell as colours. You can get patterns that are matching with some of your other electrical items. Plasma televisions are an innovative new technology that provides flat screen displays. That is equivalent to a life span of almost 7 years, if the plasma is left on 24/7. Compared to a tube television’s estimated lifetime of much less than 5 years if left on 24/7, the plasma television is the best choice.

Color reproduction and contrast ratio are two important components of a clear picture. Plasma televisions excel in both; they produce richer, more vibrant colours and truer blacks than LCDs. Due to the backlighting in LCDs, any pixel that should be black will have some light leaking through, which spoils the contrast.

Plasmas also have a wider viewing angle than LCDs. When viewing the television from the side, higher above, or lying on the floor, plasmas retain their crystal clear picture much better than LCDs do. Due to the shutter effect caused by the backlighting on LCDs, the larger the viewing angle is, the more brightness variation an LCD television viewer will experience.

In older models of plasma TVs, the burn-in effect posed a significant problem. When an image (for example, a paused movie) is kept on the screen for too long, the image could be burned into the screen and still faintly visible afterwards. Plasma TV companies have worked to eradicate this problem with much success; while it is still possible for images to burn in, on newer plasmas the possibility is almost negligible.

Plasma televisions have almost no size limitations, as long as the consumer’s budget can cover a gigantic screen. LCD and CRT televisions, on the other hand, are constrained to a diagonal measure of about 52 inches.
