One of the first things that you’ll want to make sure of is the fact that any outdoor lamp you look at has a weighted base. The base of your lamp needs to be heavy enough to withstand any winds that could end up knocking an ordinary lamp onto the ground.
Make sure that any shades that come with an outdoor lamp happen to be weather resistant. If they’re not, you’ll learn the hard way, as they’ll the look of them will not only fade quickly, but there may be damage to the core of the lighting unit.
It’s also important to make sure that you have adequate wiring in place to handle the electrical needs of the outdoor chandelier or outdoor lamp that you end up buying. The placement of your unit should be strategic, and near an outlet that facilitates the necessary electricity.
You don’t want to simply buy any kind of lamp and place it outside. This simply won’t work.
Wiring that protects the unit from precipitation will be known as sealed wiring, and you should find one with a rubber coated switch as well. Both of these things will give you ample weather protection.
Keep all of the above in mind when you’re buying your outdoor chandelier or other lighting product. As long as you do, you’ll be in great shape with respect to getting something appropriate for your settings.

Wicker is the method of weaving natural fivers such as willow, rattan, cane, bamboo into a variety of patterns. Wicker can be produced by weaving interlaced thin branches around a frame and making it into appropriate shapes such as tables, chairs, bed or sofas.
Most of this furniture is made by hand and they mostly come from Southeast Asia, places like Indonesia, Philippines and China. Wicker became popular in the early centuries of Victorian era, because of its smooth, clean finish which was perceived as more hygienic than the upholstered type of furniture.
The wicker furniture is widely classified into two types: loom woven and the artificial wicker furniture. Loom made wicker furniture makes use of natural products like the rattan, cane or bamboo.
The material is made by dipping it in resin emulsions to make a kind of moisture resistant shield. Synthetic wicker furniture is from hand-woven polyethylene, fiber glass or resin, a material that is identical to wicker. It can be cleaned with water, is waterproof, colorfast, and ultraviolet as well as frost resistant.
Synthetic woven furniture normally uses aluminum to make it strong and durable. It often uses UV inhibitors that resist the bad effects of the sun, weather, and temperature changes.
A type of wicker uses special coating for durability and to make it fade resistant. They do not crack easily either.
They come in natural colors, stained or painted on the surface. It gives comfort, longevity, versatility and stylish. Their natural colors and finish make them able to mix well with contemporary materials. It is mainly used for outdoor furniture for the patio because it is manageable, easy to wash and is light.
Wicker is durable and can last several years. It is easy to take care of because it attracts little dust. It is good to vacuum your wicker furniture, polish it and apply a layer of lacquer to help restore its finish and beauty.

Getting the right pupils for your school can be extremely tricky. To do this you need to understand the educational structure in Norway. In 2008/09 there were 1216 Norwegian studying creative studies abroad, which is approximately 10% of all Norwegian pupils abroad. The reason for the relatively high number of Norwegian pupils abroad is our funding system; the Norwegian State Loan Fund.
High schools in Norway are divided into different specializations already from the first year of study. Norwegian high schools offer three types of specializations that lead to a qualification to go on to higher studies, these are: Sports and physical education, Music, dance and drama with program areas (music, dance and drama) and Specialization in general studies with program areas (Arts, crafts and design studies, Natural science and mathematics, Languages, social science and economics studies.
Students who choose arts, crafts and design studies are the ones you need to reach; they have prepared a portfolio to show straight out of secondary studies. The studies can be specialized; however they need to do the same core courses. Arts and crafts often lead to a portfolio aimed for higher studies within Fine art, Architecture, Illustration, Interior design, Fashion design and Product design, whilst Media and Communication students will have a portfolio aimed at Graphic design, Motion graphics, Film and Television, Animation and Web design.
Finding the right marketing channels to reach these students could be very time consuming for recruiters and can be quite expensive. Fairs, newspapers and Internet pages make the competition difficult. Some magazines such as Brief are specialized on creative studies and are only distributed to students who already have a specialized portfolio.
Fairs are often a jungle of educational institutions and other less serious institutions that are competing for the same crowd. The number of visitors can also be high, but when you break down the visitors you will find that at lot of these are actually have up to four years until they are potential students. Using Educational agencies are often cheapest and very time efficient. Agencies have local knowledge and links to the high schools.
What kind of agencies should you use?
Specialized agencies often have more knowledge of the potential students needs and can offer their clients much better service, which will reflect on your institution. The happier the students are with their application the better they will like your school, which will lead to them spreading the word to their friends and family. Agents can also advise their clients in which study program that will fit their needs best.
The more specialized the agency is, the more likely it is that it will have more to teachers in the secondary schools. The agency can offer school visits, specialized fairs, road trips etc. Getting inside the schools will allow you to talk to up to 30 pupils who all are thinking of doing higher education the coming year. Better and cheaper marketing you will not find.
Espen founded UniAbroad and Designstudier in 2004 and has helped houndreds of Norwegian students find their design studies abroad.

If you’re looking for a great solution for your floors, carpet squares are a great way to achieve your flooring goals without spending an arm and a leg either. There are many reasons that I’d endorse using them, and I’ll go into them through the course of this article.
The process of getting flooring for offices and homes can be an arduous ones as some of us will literally go back and forth all day between different carpet samples.
There’s the whole process of choosing a pattern that looks good (which is often hard to find), choosing the thickness of the carpeting, and then making sure that the measurements of your room are conducive to the amount of carpeting that you buy.
Finding and paying someone to lay the carpet down is an actual drag, and it ends up costing us extra money that we weren’t really prepared to spend. I wish there was a way to do away with this all, but it’s a necessity in many environments.
For the convenience, not to mention some other benefits they offer, carpet squares are truly worth considering as an alternative. Not only will you have an easier time laying them down, but you’ll save a bit of money in the process.
Here are a few advantages that you’ll find from the use of carpet tiles rather than a floor to floor carpet system.
First of all, carpet squares will allow you to mix and match different patterns if you should so please. This allows for a lot of flexibility depending upon the environment.
Another key selling point is the fact that they’re very easy to lay down. Most carpet tiles or squares will be adhesive, and can be put onto floors and removed from them just as easily. This will save you money on the often expensive costs of installing a carpet.
Lastly, they’re very affordable in comparison. You’d be happy to know that you can definitely save some money by choosing carpet squares over any other traditional forms of flooring. When there’s money to save, there’s one more reason to love this means of covering a floor.
This author’s blog covers carpet squares and other items, including carpeting stairs and more.

The most popular improvement home owners make on their home is renovating their bathrooms. The reason why this is popular is due to the fact that bathrooms have become more than just a space for hygiene. Many people relax in the bathroom and view it as a personal retreat.
There are so many options to consider when renovating a bathroom, but the standard rules have changed a bit. People include all sorts of different things in their bathrooms now, like chairs and other pieces of furniture. The most important thing to take note of before getting into any work is the actual space you have. You want to make sure the layout is extremely functional.
In addition to considering the functionality, also consider the openness. If it’s not too crowded, it will feel larger. A part of doing this in a successful way is by setting up the ideal layout. Another thing to look for are materials that can easily be maintained and cleaned.
All of this work can get pricey, especially on a full renovation. However, it all depends on what you choose to do. If you want to keep the costs low, then perhaps just adding a new vanity top or light fixtures can satisfy your craving to renovate until you save up a bit. These small renovations will cost less than $1,000. A major renovation can cost above $10,000.
With all the high quality products and materials available for your bathroom, you can really make it a special room. It can become more than just a shower, toilet and a sink.
If you’re bathroom is on the larger side, a display case or wicker chair can make this a great place to get ready. It can create a feeling of an old fashion powder room.
A great alternative to a white or gray bathroom is adding some fun colors. Mix and match some colors to create a bit of a pop and a more vibrant bathroom. If you want to keep the paint job simple, mix it up with some colored picture frames and some bright towels. You can even just add some fresh flowers or plants as they’ll add color and a nice feel. .
As you spend money on your bathroom renovation, you’re investing in your home. Hopefully it lasts for a long time and increases the value of your home.

The use of runner rugs is widespread in just about every setting imaginable. If you’re unfamiliar with how they work, this article will give you a better background on this flooring accessory.
There are many situations where a floor could use a runner rug. Whether it’s for decorative purposes or protective measures, the runner rug has a clear purpose.
Runner rugs in hallways are the ideal way to make an ordinarily bland tile or wooden floor have a bit more purpose, not to mention some softness on the feet.
If you have a hard set of wooden stairs, you may want to consider lining the center of them with a long runner rug. If they match the decorations of your stairway area, they’ll look great.
This makes the stairs easier to walk on, not to mention safer as they reduce the chances of somebody slipping and soften the impact in the event that they do.
Stairways aren’t the only place that runner rugs are used for the purpose of safety. Many lobbies will use runner rugs when there’s precipitation as a means of protecting people from slipping on the floors.
Floors inside a lobby aren’t ordinarily carpeted, and when they get wet, they’re quite dangerous. Since so many people walk in and out of shared lobbies, the water from wet shoes can accumulate really quickly.
Aside from the design of the runner rug that you choose, you’ll also want to choose the length, width, and thickness. The bigger and thicker ones will generally be more expensive, and the material will have an impact on the price as well.
Equally important is choosing something that matches up with the theme of the room you have in mind. Try to envision this before buying, rather than simply getting something that looks good on its own. Your rug will become a part of the room, enhancing its appeal all the more.
Find out more about runner rugs and kitchen area rugs today.

Because more people will pay attention to your procedures and listen to your courses and exhibits, you will keep people coming back and keep people interested in what you have to offer.
The analytics of such a program let you analyze what is working and what is not. This helps you adapt the program to your needs and the needs of your students and employees. Next time you are thinking of digitalized learning, get a customized package.
Many companies offer custom elearning, but many people are trying to locate a company that supplies custom elearning design. Replacing a shower head is probably easier than you think. You may want to replace a shower head for cosmetic reasons or because the current shower head isn’t working properly. Quite often the shower heads sprays incorrectly due to corrosion or calcium deposits. Regardless of why you want to replace your shower head, this guide will inform you on the steps to install your new shower head.
The first step in this project is to turn off the shower faucet! Proceed by removing the old shower head with a wrench. Rotate the head counter clock-wise on the flat spots, which can be found on the pipe nipple at the base of the head. The part that is sticking out of the wall is where the head screws go into the goose neck pipe. When you remove the threads, they may have some debris built up. Thoroughly clean the threads before moving on.
Once you’ve cleaned the goose-neck threads, you’ll need a supply of Teflon tape. The Teflon tape should be wrapped around the threads about 4 to 5 times around the thread. Make sure you do it in a counter clock-wise direction. This tape will prevent any leakage in the future. Lightly press the tape into the threads so it’s firm and do not let the tape extend above the threaded area.
Once the threads are prepared, screw the new shower head onto the goose-neck. Some shower heads will come with a rubber washer, while some don’t use a washer at all. I usually prefer shower heads with a washer.
If you don’t have a washer included in the package, screw the shower head onto the goose-neck arm and tighten with your hands. Make sure it’s firm and tightly screwed on. To test it out, turn the water on and make sure the water is flowing smoothly without any leaks. If there are any leaks at the shower arm, you may need to tighten the head using a wrench. To be safe, place a cloth under the wrench to prevent damaging the shower hear. Proceed to test again and keep tightening until there are no leaks.
If a washer is provided in the box, place the rubber washer on the shower hear. Continue by screwing the shower hear onto the goose neck and tighten. Do not use a wrench to tighten since there’s a washer. A wrench can damage the washer, forcing it inside the shower arm. Check for leaks by running the water and if there are any leaks, it must be tighter.
This is a really simple project that can be complete in 15 minutes. Follow all the steps in order to keep your shower head working properly for many years. To prevent slipping while doing this, always work in a dry shower so you won’t slip.
There are many different types of shower heads available. You can find a huge selection online, so always shop around before making a purchase! Good luck installing your new shower head!
